M2P 2027

Math 2 Product (M2P) 2027

Emerging Technologies in Computational Science for Industry, Sustainability and Innovation

Terrasini (Palermo), Italy, 25–28 May, 2027

Mathematical models, computational methods, and simulation underpin modern engineering and quantitative predictive science, enabling both classical analyses and data-driven innovation. Their importance has grown rapidly, supporting industrial workflows while also contributing to address societal and environmental challenges, including sustainability.

Launched in 2023, Math 2 Product (M2P) is part of the ECCOMAS Thematic Conferences and the IACM Special Conferences series with a twofold mission: (i) to discuss emerging methodologies in computational science and foster cross-fertilisation between academic advances and real-world solutions, driving new paradigms in science and engineering; and (ii) to showcase the synergy of mathematics, computational engineering, industry, and policy making in developing reliable quantitative tools for complex, data-rich applications, including artificial intelligence and scientific machine learning.

M2P offers a forum to present and debate current and emerging trends in computational science and engineering, with the goal of advancing quantitative solutions for industry, sustainability, and innovation. Its scope spans methods for conception, design, simulation, and optimisation in industrial processes; digital twinning and knowledge transfer; computational sustainability topics such as smart cities, clean mobility, energy systems, climate modelling and environmental monitoring, biodiversity conservation, extreme-events simulation, precision agriculture, waste and resource management, and public health.

Following the 2023 edition in Taormina (Italy) and the 2025 edition in Valencia (Spain), the third M2P will return to Sicily and take place in Terrasini (near Palermo, Italy) on May 26–28, 2027.

We look forward to welcoming you in Sicily!
