Mathematical models, computational methods, and simulation techniques form the foundation of modern engineering and quantitative predictive science, enabling both traditional analyses and data-driven innovations. These methodologies have become increasingly important in recent years, supporting industrial simulations and addressing broader societal and environmental challenges, including sustainability.

Launched in 2023, Math 2 Product (M2P) has established itself as a successful ECCOMAS–IACM conference series, distinguished by its twofold objective: (i) to discuss emerging methodologies in computational science and cross-fertilization of academic and practical, real-world solutions, towards the development of innovative, groundbreaking paradigms in science and engineering; (ii) to highlight the successful synergy of mathematics, computational engineering, industry, and policy making in developing reliable quantitative tools for complex, data-rich applications, including modern approaches like artificial intelligence and scientific machine learning.

Math 2 Product provides a platform for proposal, discussion, and promotion of current and new trends in computational science and engineering, to advance quantitative solutions in industry, sustainability, and innovation. Scientific and technical topics of M2P span computational methods for conception, design, simulation, and optimisation in industrial processes, digital twinning and transfer of knowledge, computational sustainability including smart cities, clean mobility, energy systems, climate modelling, environmental monitoring, biodiversity conservation, extreme-events simulation, precision agriculture, waste and resource management, and public health.

After the successful first edition in Taormina (Sicily, Italy) in 2023, and the second one in Valencia (Spain) in 2025, Math 2 Product is back to Sicily, with the third edition being scheduled in Terrasini, in the vicinity of Palermo, on May 26-28, 2027.
